Fishburn Hedges Group appointed by Nintendo of Europe

Fishburn Hedges Group today confirmed it has been appointed by Nintendo of Europe.

The agency’s role will be to collaborate with Nintendo to enhance communications with its consumers across European markets.

The integrated brand team, drawn from Fishburn Hedges and the Group’s specialist consumer agency Seventy Seven, will report to Nintendo’s European PR team and help to provide support to its in-country PR managers and local PR agencies. 

Shelly Pearce, Head of European PR at Nintendo, said: “We’re at a stage in our development in Europe where we need a combination of great consumer ideas as well as strong corporate brand support. Fishburn Hedges Group delivers that in a very seamless way that is right for the Nintendo brand.”

The team will be led by Fishburn Hedges chief executive Simon Matthews , who added:  “We’re proud that such an iconic brand as Nintendo has placed its faith in us.
