Fishburn Hedges wins Meningitis Research Foundation brief
Meningitis Research Foundation has appointed Fishburn Hedges to help it develop its strategic communications priorities.
MRF funds research to prevent meningitis and septicaemia, and to improve survival rates and outcomes. In the 22 years since it was set up, both treatment and education about the diseases have advanced significantly.
Harpinder Collacott, Head of Communications and Campaigns at MRF said: "We are delighted that awareness and treatment have moved a long way since we started out. We are looking forward to working with Fishburn Hedges to review where we are and to identify the next communications priorities we need to tackle."
Guy Corbet said: "MRF is at the forefront of research, works hard to promote awareness of the diseases and really supports individuals who are affected. This brief really plays to our strengths in communications planning and healthcare campaigning and it will be very interesting to combine the two."
Fishburn Hedges directors Rory Scanlan and Guy Corbet will be working on the project.
