We have been appointed by The National Commercial Bank (NCB), the largest bank in Saudi Arabia and a leading financial institution in the region, to an employee engagement brief which will help improve the bank’s online communications to staff.

The brief will see us help NCB develop its intranet and build communications capability across the organisation. This project is an important part of a wider focus on employee engagement and communications to enable NCB to achieve its vision of becoming the region’s premier financial services group.

Cameron Walker, Director of Communications, NCB, said:

“This project is an important step in helping to enhance and deliver improved communication skills across the NCB Group. With 282 branches throughout the Kingdom and 9,400 employees across the Group, our intranet is an extremely important communication channel. I am delighted that Fishburn Hedges is helping to ensure best practice development of this channel and providing a legacy for good internal communication.”

Commenting on the brief, Nick Wright, Fishburn Hedges Director, said:

“Not only will our work deliver key resources to help NCB plan and implement effective online communication, but we are working to ensure a transfer of skills with those responsible for internal communication. Through a series of workshops delivered at NCB’s headquarters in Jeddah, we hope to contribute to the culture of communication which has been established within the organisation.”

The National Commercial Bank operates across the whole of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has over two million customers and the biggest asset base of any Saudi financial institution. It was also the first bank established in Saudi Arabia.
